Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service
The Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service provides specialized quality patient care by furnishing properly prescribed prosthetic equipment, sensory aids and devices in the most economical and timely manner in accordance with authorizing laws, regulations and policies. The Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service serves as the health care provider for assistive aids and as case manager for prosthetic equipment needs of the disabled veteran.
The special mission of the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service Line is to be the advocate for a core population of veterans with special needs for prostheses and sensory aids. This group includes:

- Spinal Cord Injured and Spinal Cord Dysfunction
- Blind and Visually Impaired
- Hearing and Speech Impaired
- Podiatric Care
- Cardio-Pulmonary Disease
- Traumatic Brain Injured and Traumatic Brain Dysfunction
- Neurologically Dysfunction
- Muscular Dysfunction
- Orthopedic Care
- Diabetics
- Peripheral Vascular Disease
- Cerebral/Vascular Disease
- Geriatric Patients
