Surgical Service
Surgical Service provides care for veterans through consultation by their primary care provider. General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on the surgical treatment of abdominal organs. In recent years, technology has improved to allow some, but not all surgical procedures to be minimally invasive and have become important for various reasons such as decreased pain, decreased potential for infection, less scarring, less trauma, decreased cost to patients, and decreased time in the hospital.
Surgical Service includes various specialty clinics.
