Mindful Yoga 2

Veterans Health Education.  Yoga 2.  Could you use help in better managing your stress? Learn stress management while moving!  Class meets every Tuesday at 2pm in the Fitness Center.  This is a more traditional /advanced yoga class than the Mindful Yoga.  Equipment is provided. MOVE!

Location: Bldg 217 Fitness Center
 
Veterans Health Education.  MOVE! is a program for Veterans interested in weight loss through healthy food choices and exercise.  Classes meet weekly for up to sixteen weeks.  You may attend the Tuesday morning or Wednesday afternoon class in Martinsburg. Introduction to Whole Health
 
Time: 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM (EST)
Location: Bldg. 500, room 2A-122C, Potomac Room
 
 This two-hour session is designed to introduce the VA Whole Health approach to care.  Whole Health helps answer the question, "What matters to You?"  It focuses on your health and well-being and includes self-care and complementary therapies (such as acupuncture, massage, and yoga), along with your conventional medical care.  In Whole Health care, you are a more active partner with your health team.

I QUIT!
 
Time: 10:30 AM- 11:30 AM (EST)
Location: Bldg 500, room 2B-150 Library and local CBOCs.
 
Veterans Health Education. I Quit! (tobacco cessation) classes are available to help you kick the habit of using tobacco.   It meets every Tuesday at the Martinsburg VA Library, 2B-150 or by v-tel* from your local CBOC (Cumberland, Fort Detrick, Franklin, Hagerstown, Harrisonburg, Petersburg or Stephens City).  For further information please contact Bobbi Corbin, RD, HPDP Program Manager at (304) 263-0811 ext. 2334.
