Introduction to Beekeeping Class Offered

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – The Martinsburg VA Medical Center will host an informal introduction to beekeeping class for Veterans and members of the community Saturday, Feb. 4, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Room 1B-114.

Ed Forney, the Regional Apiary Trainer for the West Virginia Department of Agriculture’s Veterans and Warriors to Agriculture Project, will conduct this three hour class.

Introduction to beekeeping will provide information about joining bee clubs, starting a new business or hobby and learning about bees. This fun filled class is free.
