MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – The Martinsburg VA Medical Center (VAMC) invites you to a celebration of the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Room 1B-114 from noon to 1 p.m.

Working alongside individuals of all ages, races and backgrounds, Dr. King encouraged Americans to come together to strengthen communities, alleviate poverty, and acknowledge dignity and respect for all human beings.

Those in attendance can learn how to honor the legacy of Dr. King through volunteer opportunities at the Martinsburg VAMC.

Dr. King’s dream represents our country’s highest ideal — that all men and women are created equal — an idea secured by all those who stepped forward to defend our great nation.

At the Martinsburg VAMC, we can say with certainty and pride that our charge is to ensure the medical center serves all Veterans in the way they want and need to be served.
