MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – The Martinsburg VA Medical Center is moving the Petersburg Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) from its current location at 117 Hospital Dr. to 15 Grant St. in Petersburg, West Virginia.

The new clinic will open Monday, June 2, and will transition from a contract operated CBOC to a fully VA staffed and operated clinic.

“We would like to express our thanks to Grant Memorial Hospital,” said Bobbi Corbin, acting primary care business manager. “They have provided excellent care to more than 950 Veterans throughout the years.”

Veterans’ care will be managed by a dedicated care team which includes a provider, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and a medical assistant. Additionally, the size of the facility will allow for the growth of services and expansion into telehealth specialties such as cardiology, podiatry, dermatology, group patient education and other tele-services.

“This is a great enhancement of service for our Veterans in the Petersburg area,” said Timothy Cooke, associate medical center director. “Overall, the level of care Petersburg Veterans receive will be greatly expanded.”

Veterans who have questions or concerns may contact Bobbi Corbin at 304-263-0811, ext. 3905.
