Martinsburg VAMC will host sixth annual Hospice Open House

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – In collaboration with community hospices, the Martinsburg VA Medical Center will host its sixth annual Hospice Open House Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Veterans, families and the community.
Hospice care focuses on improving the quality of life for patients with serious life-limiting illnesses. This event is an opportunity for Veterans and community members to learn about hospice care at the medical center and the four-state area. The various hospice staffs will be available to answer questions about hospice care for our Veterans. The open house will also include a grand rounds presentation that will begin at noon.
