MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – The Martinsburg VA Medical Center is hosting a Welcome Home event at the Frederick Keys baseball game in Frederick, Maryland on Thursday, July 2 at 7 p.m.

This family-friendly event is coordinated through the Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn (OEF/OIF/OND) Program to welcome home returning Veterans. It is also an opportunity for Veterans to learn about VA health care, My HealtheVet and get other information about VA benefits and services.

This event is to welcome home all OEF/OIF/OND Veterans; however Veterans from all eras are eligible for one free ticket. To reserve their tickets, Veterans can call 304-262-1299.

A limited number of tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the game to those with a VA or DoD ID Card or a copy of their DD-214. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at the gate.

Veterans can pick up their tickets starting at 5:30 p.m. The gates to the ballpark will open up at 6 p.m. and the first pitch will be at 7:05 p.m.
