October 22, 2013

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – In collaboration with community hospices, the Martinsburg VA Medical Center will host its seventh annual Hospice Open House Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Veterans, families and the community.

Hospice care focuses on improving the quality of life for patients with serious life-limiting illnesses.  This event is an opportunity for Veterans and community members to learn about hospice care at the medical center and the four-state area. The various hospice staffs will be available to answer questions about hospice care for our Veterans. The open house will also include a grand rounds presentation that will begin at noon.
