VA Medical Center Participates in Nationwide Earthquake Preparedness Effort - Employees at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center will join more than 10 million individuals across the country by participating in the 2012 Great ShakeOut Oct. 18 at 10:18 a.m. The ShakeOut is an earthquake drill providing local communities, schools, businesses and organizations, throughout the State of West Virginia, an opportunity to practice how to stay safe during an earthquake and to practice the protective action of “Drop, Cover and Hold On.” (10/12/2012)

Martinsburg VA Co-Sponsors Nursing Research Conference - Register for the 4th Annual Nursing Research Conference, cosponsored by the Martinsburg VA Medical Center and Shepherd University. The conference includes two plenary sessions and more than a dozen smaller sessions to choose from. Proceeds are used to fund the conference’s annual scholarship for two participating student selected by the Shepherd University Nursing staff and one VA staff member who is pursuing a degree in Nursing. International AIDS Candlelight Memorial: Promoting Health and Dignity - Join us on Monday, May 21, for the Martinsburg VA Medical Center’s International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Observance. The event will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in room 1B-114.
